Upgrading Early

I’d been planning on getting a new video card to run The Old Republic when it comes out later this year. However the last couple days my existing card has been acting up. Seems like I just got this, but reviewing my order history at Newegg.com  see I’ve have this card (Radeon HD 4850 512MB) for over 2 years so I figured why not upgrade a bit early.

I’ll be getting a Radeon HD 6970 2GB in a few days. It’s not the best, but seems to be tied for second best at the moment for a single GPU (I really don’t want to mess with CrossFire for SLI), and is $200 cheaper than the best, Nvidia’s 580.
